My Impact

  1. PFNA IT

Delivered end-to-end flow within a short turnaround period, collaborating with cross-functional teams across all stages, from research, design, to hand-off.

  2. Information Security

Built vision and defined product framework using interactive prototype built in Figma based on secondary and primary research to visually explain new technology integration proposal.

Takeaways & Learnings

  1. the effect of Design on day to day operations

I had the opportunity to witness the end-to-end process of PepsiCo’s core business- from R&D to delivering the goods to store shelves. While on these frontline tours, I was able to see the design changes my team and I worked on in action. The experience reinforced that the designs I work on have a real impact and can drastically improve people’s workflow.

  2. Being pro-active, innovative, &  fearless!

As someone with limited knowledge in IT, not to mention information security,  it was challenging to understand the work they do. The many PepsiCo specific acronyms did not help either. I reached out to cross-functional partners in and out of my team to get insights and feedback. Through this process, I was able to create new interactions and AR effects, bringing a new perspective on how information security can leverage AI.

A special thanks to everyone who made my internship so special.  My experience was filled with learning new things, meeting incredible people, and being bold and creative. I learned and grew so much as a designer.
